"The hotel is very small and in a semi-rural area of Kyoto. However there is a 7-eleven situated literally across the road from it, making it a little bit more convenient. The staff and service were excellent. The free amenities were excellent. The room had a washing machine, drying machine, stove, microwave and kettle. Everything you need for a trip. Overall 5 stars. For public transportation, bus service is minutes away, Tokufuji Stn (next to Family Mart convenience store) JR and Main subway system is a short walk (under 10 minutes) and Kyoto Station less than a 15 minute walk away. Lawson's convenience store is just a minute or two walk! Not too central for many restaurants, but we used the microwave for most dinners."
