"Great location. Lovely hotel steps from Marutamachi subway station. Good hub for buses also. Comfortable walk to sights (Nijo Castle, Kyoto Imperial Palace). Extremely clean. Quiet, spacious room. Wonderful breakfast. (The only alternative for breakfast in the area was MacDonalds; other restaurants opened much later.) Helpful staff. Our family of 3 adults (2 parents & 1 adult child) had a room with 2 twin beds + bed sofa. Unfortunately, the bed sofa was too hard to sleep on, so our daughter...
