"Loved this property! Staff was nice. I came in early and accidentally accessed the hotel by the back, thinking it was the lobby. There were two security guards and we left our backpacks, our valuable belongings and money there for more than 7 hours. They took care of our property and nothing got lost. "The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit of over 1100 sq ft is an amazing value. The unit was very contemporary and very well maintained. It was like a small house with even a separate laundry room of good size. "Top notch room, wifi worked, nice desk, upscale bathroom with both bath and shower, included rain forest nozzle. Staff is very friendly, usually greeting you with a smile and saying "Good morning," even when just walking by. No gift shop. Nice selection of sandwiches, sodas when going out for the day. Lucas, the concierge, was awesome. He knew I like Diet Coke and made sure I had one before leaving on a tour. The bar/cafe is iffy--for me. "Very nice hotel at a very affordable rate. Then again I'm still searching for that hotel in China where at least at the reception they spoke a bit of a foreign language. The double Trees I've visited in China are otherwise a very solid choice."

"This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the amenities are high end and plentiful, the tea area was a great bonus. TV channels included 4-5 in Enhlish. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food options and everything was very good. I really enjoyed the noodle soup. There is a huge mall within a short walk with lots of restaurants and food choices. I would happily stay here again!"

"First of all, Pan Pac Suzhou (吴宫) is definitely worth the price. The scenery within the hotel premise is really fantastic, tranquil and serene. Makes you feel like you just stepped into a majestic chinese mansion. Breakfast buffet was so super good ! We had lunch at the Haitianlo restaurant, the food was very nice and affordable! There is a laundry room at lvl 1 with free washer dryer and detergent, laundry bags were provided too. The indoor pool was heated and there was a lifeguard on duty. Our room was at the XiXiaLou side. The hotel staff were very ftiendly and helpful, doorman was also very helpful! I would definitely return here if I come to Suzhou again. Would recommend to friends and family too."

"Negative: though not the hotel’s fault but something to keep in mind. Some of the hotel guests can be a bit rude and self centered. I was next inline for check in but a hotel guest just walk right up to the counter from the side as I was about to take my turn. I also noticed some hotel guests can be very loud. I have stayed at this hotel twice to date and it happened twice. Positive: the manager at the hotel did a nice job of handling my situation when I was checking in. She was professional and friendly and even offered for her staff to help me with my bags. The hotel is across the ST from a nice mall, in a good location, clean and the guest rooms are spacious. I had a chance to meet the housekeeper. His name is Mr. Zhai, Peng, a young fellow and friendly. He did a nice job on the housekeeping. "
