"SUPER recommend staying here for a cheap option in Chicago! As a solo female traveler I stayed in the single room w/attached half-bath. It was clean and quiet and I felt totally safe. There's even free breakfast here! It is about a 12-min walk from the Fullerton station (Red, Brown, and Purple lines), which is a bit far out of the city center, but the location is more than worth it for the price."

"I hadn’t stayed at a hostel before this one, and I was skeptical of any lodging outside of Hotels, Air BnB, and family/friends. I saw this spot had great reviews and the price was perfect for me just moving to NYC with no apartment yet. Once I got there, I realized how spoiled I was & how much I could’ve saved if I had started staying at hostels sooner! The spaces is filled with so many different people from all over the world! "Lamartine Chelsea is in a great location, close to Times Square, Broadway, The High Line, and so on. It's a great price for the city. Nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. We don't spend much time in our room when we go to New York so it was just a place to sleep and clean up. Fantastic spot if that is what you are looking for. Check in was smooth and they let us leave our bags there after check out until we were ready to head home. "

"This place is wonderful! It's just a few minutes away from the beach, public transport, restaurants, and shops. The room offers a stunning view, and the hotel activities are truly a highlight! I especially loved the yoga on the beach with Maria—it was an incredible experience! I highly recommend this spot! If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the cleaning in the room and perhaps a warmer, cleaner pool. Other than that, everything was fantastic! Thank you, everyone!"

"LOVED my stay here. Sorry I had to give 3 stars to the area around the property it is a little bit skid row lite by the Albertsons but if it means a more affordable stay and the property is very secure and guests and staff were respectful."
