"Great hotel on the marina Quite at night great bar short walk to town"

"fleeting visit to cardiff, and booked this hotel. not heard of before. but impressed rooms that we had were massive, comfortable. and cannot fault for price we paid. definitely will use again when in cardiff again. easy walk to mermaid bay and the lovely eateries there and the beautiful theatre. did not grab food in hotel as previous things booked elsewhere . but looked good from what i saw. thank you "

"Don't let the outside appearance put you off. The staff were lovely, it was nice and warm, very clean and nicely decorated. The walls are a bit thin though so the sound proofing is not great. "

"Rooms shabby in parts. Bathroom very dated. We were celebrating an anniversary and special birthday but all we had was writing on a mirror. This was a disappointment. I also thought I left my watch in the room after checkout. I called to find out. Never heard back from them. They could have at least phoned to say they hadn’t located it. Breakfast felt rushed and was buffet whereas before it was al la carte. Don’t feel it’s 5 stars. It so could be with more attention to detail "
