"Short overnight stay, but midday checkout was appreciated. Communication with hotel prior to arrival was difficult, impossible in fact. But once there, friendly staff, nice hotel, extremely close to the airport, quick shuttle. Wifi good. Nice breakfast. 31/2 stars."

"Our first room was moldy smelling with a window in a kind of maintenance shaft. Fortunately the staff was able to move us to a better room one floor up which was larger and not moldy smelling. However the towels and sheets are very old (not so white anymore), so there's only so much the cleaning staff can do. The pool and garden area were a bit run down. "The breakfast buffet was just ok but it was fast and included into the room price. The caiparinas and mojitos at the bar were strong. The room had great water pressure. The conditions of the room were notably good however the WiFi signal couldn’t pass through the thick wall so no Netflix or YouTube or any channels were available. The TV was just an ornament. We didn’t find that out until the night after we checked in so we just accepted it as we didn’t want to move to another room. They don’t...
