"Breakfast was great"

"It was a quick overnight just to avoid driving all the way home in the snowstorm. I have to say it was 11pm till we got there and the front desk was so friendly and pleasant! We were treated wonderfully and as they couldn’t be more helpful ! The breakfast in the morning started at 6 and we were early to get road. It was excellent and the whole property was super clean. It needs an update but they really do a nice job for the age of the property "

"I was forced to get off the interstate by a snowstorm. The Clarion Pointe Hotel was a great (mostly lucky) choice. I picked it for its location and the reasonable price. The lobby and breakfast room were spacious and pretty and the room was all I needed. All the the staff were very friendly. Special shout-out to Laura at the front desk who helped me with all my requests - from needing mayo and plastic utensils for my meals, to opening the blinds in the breakfast room so I could watch the snow fall. The breakfast fare was standard but good. And again, the two women that were working there were very nice. Highly recommend!"

"I’ve always enjoyed my stays at the hotel, Roanoke, but with the renovations taking place in the last couple of years, that hotel has vastly improved their rooms while maintaining the integrity of the period in which the hotel was built, and thrived. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and it is just a pleasure to hang around and Have a drink, dinner in the beautiful restaurant, and walk about the grounds, even in the middle of winter. "
