「We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa das Hortencias! Although our time there was wet and windy, we found lots to do. From hiking to shopping, to exploring or spending quiet time indoors, we all found entertainment. The house was well supplied with kitchen equipment and we made good use of it all. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms worked as they should. In total, a very good experience. 」

「The location was very convenient, and in a truly beautiful spot. The convent is a clean and beautiful place. The view from my room to the courtyard was very pretty, and the breakfast was good. The last day, two ladies even brought my breakfast to my room without me even asking- I thought that a very thoughtful gesture. The staff were all lovely, with only one exception- the manager, who I believe, owns the place. I am disabled, and overheard her making a joke about me and disabled people to her...

「Sehr modernes Appartement, hat alles was man braucht. Bett ist bequem. Es ist etwas hellhörig, falls man empfindlich ist. Klimaanlage und Fenstergitter gegen Tiere vorhanden. Hübsche Terrasse. Gastgeber sind sehr nett und wohnen auf dem selben Grundstück. Für einen Abstecher auf die linke Seite von Sao Miguel hervorragend gelegen.」
