"Great property - clean bug rooms with superb service all round and excellent breakfast. My only issue was the open bathroom concept. This does not work for me. If you’re ok with this then great choice."

"Overall our stay was great. Staff was super helpful and location is perfect for being close to everything and still not in the middle of it. A few nits - no washcloths provided, no iron in the room (but supplied when asked). I would definitely recommend the Bessa!"

"Staff are wonderful. Helped get an Uber to the train station. Would stay here again. And now know if arriving in the afternoon, call the hotel for complimentary shuttle pick up. Morning flights need not call due to volume of flights coming and going."

"Very nice staff. They all spoke English. Loved our stay. Beach is beautiful. Only complaint is ths bed is hard, but all the hotels this trip the beds are hard so maybe its a thing in Spain and Portugal. No hot tub.. they have thermal spa. You have to make a reservation and its 17euros per person "
