"Hotel was very basic but clean. Walls must be very thin as I could hear people talking in the other rooms. Hotel a good location & staff friendly & helpful."

"The owners were very nice and the food was excellent. The room was nice however we were disappointed with the bathroom. We expected a jacuzzi tub, but the jets didn’t work in the tub. There was no shower head, only a hand-held faucet, plus there was no shower enclosure. Made it a challenge to wash without creating a mess all over the bathroom. "

"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. We hope to return one summer to take advantage of the hotels own private beach. "

"Excellent spot if you get a 2 bdrm apartment with terrace or a small balcony room with a view. Staff and food was excellent. Communication was poor - check in was a circus. Convention checking out at 3pm while new arrivals are checking in. Parking was a clown show. The lift (get's you to get the town level for the beach, shopping, restaurants etc. was out of service. Water to the town / hotel was off between 8 PM and 9 AM one night. Bad timing for us I guess - but it's a beautiful spot with...

"The property was great and so was the service by the staff. The staff was very attentive and paid close attention to every detail. The location was very hard to get with very narrow roads with space for one car only but this is typical for Italy. For a tourist that had not been to the location before I would probably stay somewhere closer to the town but if you are looking for relaxation this is the spot for you. "

"Highly recommendable, we actually learned this was the first hotel in Genoa ! Staff was amazing and so helpful, super well maintained hotel, our room was perfect. Close to city center just a short walk away and 3 minutes walk to Brignole train station. Good breakfast. Area can be noisy with cars and scooters."

"I loved this hotel. Perfectly situated above the plaza and train station and at the end of the street, full of restaurants and things to see and do and a great view and wonderful staff and convenient and clean and an excellent value for the money. I loved this hotel. I stay at three star hotels to five star hotels and this was the perfect hotel for the visit to Genoa Italy. "

Excellent hotel

"I visited this hotel in April with my mother. We chose the superior room with a balcony and it was wonderful. Our room had a queen bed and a separate area with a twin bed and a second balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful bedding, pillows and towels. The room had everything we could want: an espresso machine, kettle, fridge and all toiletries. We chose to add breakfast to our reservation and it was excellent with many choices and excellent coffee. The port area is lively and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and shops and public transportation. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed 2 nights before our cruise and one night after. The personnel were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is next to the train station. 15 minute walk to the port and 20 minutes car ride to the airport. Walking distance to everthing. I would diffinently go back to this hotel if I were to go bake to Genoa."
