"The owners were very nice and the food was excellent. The room was nice however we were disappointed with the bathroom. We expected a jacuzzi tub, but the jets didn’t work in the tub. There was no shower head, only a hand-held faucet, plus there was no shower enclosure. Made it a challenge to wash without creating a mess all over the bathroom. "

"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. "It was great to stay in a historic old home. It was totally comfortable and though I would be considered elderly I don’t come to Italy expecting not to have to climb stairs or do a lot of walking. "Great hotel with big room, unlike typical European hotels. We booked the triple room and it was lovely. Super spacious, comfy bed, balcony was perfect view of the little town. We got breakfast with our booking and the buffet was plenty to choose. Food was delicious too. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and smells amazing . Transportation was easy as it was close to the main train station. Also lots of dining options around the area within walking distance. Definitely recommended!!"

Overnight in Rapallo.

"Smart hotel in lovely position above the bay. Great service and enormous comfortable room and bathroom. Impressed that check-in staff knew my name by sight when I checked out. About ten minutes walk to the centre of Rapallo. Didn’t eat a main meal in the restaurant. Breakfast had a good choice but wasn’t super special."
