"Overall, the accomodation has very basic offerings. To enter the house, we have to go through the reception to go to the back of the house. The rooms are on 2nd floor so we had to bring the luggages up and down a flight of narrow stairs. Its a problem when the luggage is big and bulky. We stayed here 1 night so it was not a big deal for us. Great for short stays and not for fussy guests."

"This a beautiful hotel which seems brand new. The staff is wonderful and the meals are great. There isn’t much to do in Jozankei and there are very limited lunch options around (the hotel serves breakfast and dinner). We had a room with a private onsen which was great. "Easy check-in process. There is a Lawson and a 7-11 just few steps from the apartment. Mins away from Susukino station and all the main shopping areas are nearby. Suage soup curry is just 5 mins away. Would recommend this place for family with kids. "

"It is so close to Odori park and other interesting sights. It was easy to go where we wanted and have a comfortable room to rest in between adventures. I do wish they would allow stair access. When tour groups with their luggage were moving in or out, there was a very long wait for the two small elevators. Why can't we choose to use the stairs?"

"New hotel. Good size rooms with all the basic amenities (toothbrushes, hairbrush, razor, etc.) No shower cap though. Hotel is connected to a theater and a shopping complex with Daiso and lots of places to eat. Subway entrance is right in front of hotel with lots of underground shopping. Airport limo bus stop is across the hotel. "

"Concierge really helped me out when I forgot to book an advanced seat for the highway bus. They took care of everything swiftly and promptly! This hotel was right outside of Nakajima park which was a great walk especially in the middle of winter."

"An amazing experience in a traditional Japanese inn! The room was expansive and spacious, and definitely try the onsen, even if it seems intimidating to try as a foreigner. I experienced it in the winter after hiking snow trails, so it really soothes the body! The surrounding resort is beautiful and easy to walk to many hotspots in the area. The non-reservation restaurant on B1F is nice, but their menu is limited in the evening, so plan ahead if you are looking for nighttime dining. "
