"We stayed there 5 nights. They immediately greeted and offeredu cappicino and hot cocoa and cookies which they brought to our room several times throughout our stay. The breakfast is outstanding. The offered to make us omelets which werent on buffet. Kind friendly and superior service with affordable price. Would definately nook again. "

"I did read many reviews about this hotel, but I don't know why people gave low rate of feedback. I got very pleasant time in this hotel with nice staff and clean building and room,the breakfast was not bad reasonable. Every thing were good and comfortable for me and my family. This is fact I spend 4 days and this is the first time for me in this hotel. "

"The property is very spacious and close to some food and dining. However property should be clear on shuttle service included. We arrived the owner was not present so it was a bit inconvenienced to get access. However he was in communication. I would recommend for small groups, the information on there page tho needs some clarity and possible new photos. The property is approximately 10km from the major sites if you do decide to walk. You will need to figure out transportation. "

"When I arrived after making a booking on Expedia, the front desk had no idea about it. They wanted me to pay them again. I called the manager and they cleared it up. There was luke warm water only. They said the boiler had just been fixed and needed time to warm up. But worst of all, I sat on the queen bed and half of it collapsed. It must have been broken already. I’m not that big. Underneath the mattress there was cracked cardboard! On a good note, the property was clean. But certainly not...

"Hotel located in the center and close to the metro. BUT ... The room is very small, the bedding is dirty, the electrical wires of the air conditioning system hangs across the room, it was necessary to bend to pass underneath. Violent headache and vertigo at 2am for an unexplainable reason. This hotel seems to be a den of drug addicts. The deafening muezzin at 4am is not the worst, it does not last long and we go back to sleep quickly. Do not go!!!!"

"We had an amazing stay at the Carina Gold hotel. Very helpful staff beforehand to help and book transfers. Front desk staff very welcoming. Our room was very clean and immaculate lovely smelling too!!. Would definitely recommend to family and friend. The hotel is very close to the main tourist sites. "Spacious rooms and beds. It is located in the heart of Instanbul old town. It is walkable and with lots of restaurant in the surroundings. The staff is very welcoming and polite. Parking is a problem tough. On the other hand there's easy access to trams and taxis."

"The place was beautiful! Very comfortable. Service was extremely helpful. My friend had surgery and couldn't find too many things close within walking distance. Train station was about 15 min walk. Uber ride to an authentic restaurant was about 10 min. Walking maybe 30min. Nice, quiet area. "

"Historic building with beautiful decorative details used throughout. Location is really lovely as you are in walking distance of all the historic spots. Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace along with the tram line too. Very went with an 8 year and perfect to be out straight away to your destination. Staff all were so lovely and helpful. Zuleha kept our rooms spotless. It was lovely everything replenished straight away. And overall just looked after really well. Breakfast was solid. I can’t fault it lovely team. Just the selection is a little smaller but that could be as we went out of season but everything is still good quality. And I love that there is no waste as all left over are feed to the seagulls. Wi-Fi connection is not the best. So this means you do need to get some data or eSIM on your phone. It’s just it would have been helpful for Google translate to speak. Safety all really safe and trust worthy and really respectful. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever get another chance in the future in sha allah"

"This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I travel to Istanbul frequently. However, this hotel was a delightful surprise for us. We had initially planned to stay for only five days but ended up extending to 22 nights. It was an excellent decision. The staff's interaction with the guests was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, free of unpleasant odors, or anything that you might encounter in some other hotels. I used three rooms in the hotel—three rooms of different sizes and levels. All three were equally clean, well-organized, and the staff interaction was consistent. The hotel is excellent for transportation, with very close connections, and Istiklal Street’s beauty needs no introduction. "
