"This hotel is not what it claims to be and is at best a Yatri Niwas for the numerous Yatris that throng Puri. I had made a reservation about 10 days ago paying all costs for 2 days of stay. I had a official conference in Puri ending around the same time. My brother was supposed to join me from my home town of Cuttack. I went in the morning to complete the check in Since I am an Odia staying in Delhi, U started conversing in Odia. Don't know whether this was a let down, coz I checked in and left...

"The property is good overall, specially for Buddhist pilgrimage. However if you are a pure vegetarian, you will face problems in food. Not only in the restaurant but in entire Bodhgaya. Apart from that we had a pleasant time in Bodhgaya and this hotel."

"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."
