"We stayed two nights in a Japanese room with private open-air bath. It was fantastic. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Words cannot describe the private open air bath which we used as much as possible. We had dinner and breakfast included - these meals may be challenging for western tastes but if you're feeling adventurous, go for it! Unfortunately the public bath was closed when we visited so I cannot comment on this."

"This hotel was wonderful. Indoor and outdoor onsens for men and women. Beautiful spaces for lounging, a spa, a restaurant available for breakfast and dinner, 7-11 right across the street, great mountain views. Rooms were very large with a full couch, two double beds, a desk, a full kitchen with microwave and stove, ensuite laundry with washer dryer combo. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke some English. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely book again"

"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"

"This hotel was a blast to stay at. Not situated close to the city, it still offered a lot for the location. Situated in the middle of the transit run, it will either bring you back to town or all the way to the gondola terminal, where you can either go on the volcano or take a ferri on the lake. I would strongly suggest to get the city pass for the transit to enjoy all the attraction for 1 price."

The hotel is conveniently located near the the Hakone Ropeway - Togendai Station as well as the Hakone Shrine. Guests can take the ropeway to Owakudani to experience the famous view of Mt. Fuji, hot spring boiled black eggs and souvenir shops, or go further into nearby town Gora where there are many shops and museums. It is also located near Hakone-en, where there is snow sledding and an aquarium for family fun. There is also another ropeway heading up the mountain to a shrine and panoramic view.
