"The staff were excellent, professional, and helpful in every way. Everyone spoke to us in English the entire time, which made it so easy to ask for things we needed. The room was big as was the bathroom. The buffet was delicious, especially the French Toast. Our kids were excited to be here. There were plenty of taxis available for us to use, but we also walked to places such as the Imperial Palace and McDonald's."

"First visit to Japan, stayed at 4 different hotel properties. The Royal Park Hotel Iconic was hands down the best one! Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities and the staff were all helpful. The hotel offered luggage transportation services and the prices for that were reasonable. Their cocktail hour at the Lounge was fun, it’s all DIY cocktails but they give you everything you need. Would definitely recommend and come back"

"The hotel was great. The staff was helpful and professional, and the additional accommodations like laundry were very helpful on our long trip. Breakfast was consistently good and offered plenty of Japanese and Western options. Though we did not have issue with it, the beds may be a bit hard for some. We also had some noisy nights with the hotel being in downtown Kyoto, but were able to use earplugs to sleep through it. "
