「My kids and I wanted to do something special during our midwinter break from homeschooling, so we booked a cabin. We were so lucky to find this one! It has a creek and is nestled in the woods like something out of a dream. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We actually had to stay two extra nights due to snow, which worked out fine. Alicia is an excellent host! 」

「Our stay was great. I think, It’s located within the wintergreen resort properties. so it’s secluded yet lots of cabins around to make you feel safe. The house itself is well stocked with kitchen gadgets, from basics like coffee maker to air fryer, grinder etc. All the bedrooms are in the lower floor and they could use some updates. The bedrooms had a musty smell when entering. But there are air purifiers in the room, which was helpful to remove the smell. Apart from that we had a great stay....

「Close to Wintergreen ski resort in quiet spot out of chaos.Simplistic & cozy cabin. Sleeps 4 adults but lots of space for blow ups & have 3 more guests. Bring extra blankets if you sleep with more than one. Clean. No issues. Nice getaway to hike, read, paint, bird, ski or just reset. Loved it! 」

A historic house may not be everyone's cup of tea but it was perfect for us as my sister is huge into genealogical history tied with a region and she had a great time.
