Despite its humble size, Broadway can boast of two first-rate museums. Be sure to visit the Ashmolean Museum Broadway, which displays a stunning collection of art and artifacts on loan from Oxford’s well-known museum of the same name. Located in an attractive 17th-century Tudor House, the Ashmolean also features exhibits focusing on the surrounding landscapes and the area’s cultural traditions.
Also worth seeing is the Gordon Russell Design Museum, which celebrates Sir Gordon Russell MC, a highly regarded 20th-century furniture designer.
