"What a fun location to be in, you’re right off of shopping and party area. The hotel is old as it’s been around since 1904! So the building is old, which means you can hear everything. People walk, music from the room, etc. we were luck to be in a bigger suite and loved it. The windows open up to let in a lot of fresh air, the street below is a loud one so if you’re looking to sleep at an early time on the weekend, drown out the sound with tv or earplugs. "The hotel is located in a seedy part of town but is clean and I felt safe. It’s easy to get to downtown and Granville Island and there are plenty of small eateries around. There is a 7Eleven across the street and a White Spot restaurant attached to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and had a fridge and coffee maker. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. Staff were very helpful and allowed us use of the lounge on our last day when we had a late flight out. "
