「Our three nights at Bahia Bonita were wonderful! It was only a 3 minute walk from the water taxi pier to the property. We were pleased to be met at the pier by staff who helped carry our luggage. The view of the bay and beach is incredible, and you can hear the water all night, regardless of which room you’re in. Our unit had a partial ocean view off of the balcony, but we only had to go down the steps and sit on the large Deck area overlooking the water… There are tables, chairs, and lounge...

「We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. 」

「The property is located right above the outcropping that separates the 2 beaches at Yelapa, and the gate is in the main path in town. Great location, and you will enjoy all night the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks 30 feet below the wrap around balcony. The stairway down to the property is in great shape and charming. 「Our stay was in April 2025 for 6 nights. A good budget find that's a close 300m walk to the beach, in a decent area. The good: the kitchenette/terrace/balcony in the suite rooms, pool was great, nice to have breakfast available on site, service and staff were good, close to everything we needed. 「I enjoyed my stay here. It’s a quirky slightly rundown place that has perhaps seen better days. But it has character. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The views are amazing. It’s a bit noisy, so keep that in mind. The penthouse restaurant was very enjoyable. The pool is small and cold, but you can still do laps. great deal for the money. I would stay again 」
