When you have had your fill of bbq and want to try some other great food, head over to Trattoria Lisina for a change of pace. This amazing restaurant serves up delicious homemade pasta.
Round out your dining experience in Driftwood with a meal at Hays City Store, this place boasts craft cocktails and scratch made comfort food, you won't be disappointed.
Onto Dripping Springs:
Dripping Springs is known for its rolling hills, scenic river and creeks, and unique downtown with boutiques, a quaint coffee shop and several brew pubs. But it's best known as home to Deep Eddy Distillery tasting room. If vodka is your thing, this is the ideal spot for an afternoon cocktail. One of the most popular destinations to visit, the distillery is located right off of Highway 290 in Dripping Springs. Bell Springs Winery, and Twisted X Brewing Room round out a great day of drinking. :)

A trip to the 200-acre Hamilton Pool Preserve is a great way to enjoy nature. The preserve is overflowing with lush plants, and a variety of wildlife species. The pool, a geological masterpiece was formed by thousands of years of water erosion which created a collapsed grotto and boosts a 50ft waterfall. Please note, reservations are required.
A visit to Reimers Ranch will put you right on the banks of the Pedernales River where you’ll have 3 continuous miles of river frontage to explore. The park which is situated on over 2,400 acres and gives you access to over 18 miles of trails perfect for hiking and biking. After you’ve worked up a sweat, you can hop in the cool, clear river for some swimming and relaxation.
