Best Spot in Tunkhannock to Stay!
We were in town to celebrate our marriage with extended family and rented the White House. Everything was perfect! Very clean, house was well stocked with all the toiletries you could need. Kitchen is large and functional, we didn’t cook but it seemed to have everything. We loved being walking distance to town and had lunch at Tioga Bistro and breakfast at Yearbook Diner (both short walks). Was also a short drive down the road to Creekside Gardens which is the best spot in Tunkhannock to visit!! Can’t wait to come back and stay again!!

Enjoyable stay!
We were very happy to come upon this listing. It happens that my husband cousin lives a block away so for a family trip (graduation party to attend) it was perfect. The little town is quite charming too. Didn’t have enough time this visit to enjoy the river but hope to make this a yearly trip.

Enjoyed the peace & quiet!
We were visiting from Nevada for family a picnic. My wife, kiddos and I are originally from NEPA and always visit every few years when possible. Our host was extremely helpful, responsive and upbeat! It is always a relaxing pleasure to visit the rural area of Pennsylvania, the native people have integrity and are truly good hearted & genuine. We always have a great time visiting, and the Mannings ice cream is top notch.......yum!

Family & friends
We had friends and family in town for a wedding. The White House on Warren was a great place for everyone. As it was a busy couple days they mostly just slept there. That said, all reviews were positive. Everyone appreciated the comfortable beds, the welcome basket, and the big tray of cookies. They all enjoyed the many details of the home and being able to read the history and see the photos of this lovely home. A couple even got to enjoy a bit of relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. Denise was great to work with! She is truly a caring host.

Perfect
Our friends got married at old carter barn so it was a quick trip and a group of us stayed at the house. The house was so cute, better than the pictures. I loved the yard and all the sitting area. And it was the perfect kitchen, all the cakes for the wedding fit easily into the fridge
