Cute Cozy Cabin
Very cute cozy cabin! Very clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen a little old and out dated. No dishwasher. Bathrooms updated and nice. Hot water runs out quickly. Downstairs shower head not much water pressure. Located on main road to Sequoia National Park South Entrance only 4 miles. But 50 miles to General Sherman Tree. Would recommend and would stay there again.

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for our family and we were very comfortable. I’m so glad there was AC because we did not expect the heat wave. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. We will definitely be returning!

Very comfortable and roomy!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very close to the entrance to Sequoia National Park while still conveniently located near town. The home is well maintained with plenty of space, it is comfortably furnished, and the A/C is blessedly cool! Communication with the property manager is thorough and welcoming. Thank you for everything!

Comfy, cozy cabin about as close to the park as you can get without staying at Wuksachi Lodge.
Our family loved this comfy, cozy cabin! We wanted to be as close to Sequoia NP as possible, to reduce driving time for our grandkids (one of whom is prone to car sickness). This cabin is as about as close to the park as you can get, unless you can afford to stay at Wuksachi Lodge within the park (which is closer to the main sites in the park)…but then you would not have a kitchen and LR & yard for your family to hang out together in the evening. Our 8 & 10 yr old grandkids really enjoyed their cozy BR upstairs and both other BRs are spacious & beautiful. There are a couple restaurants and a grocery store within 10 min that met all of our needs. I would definitely choose this cabin for a future visit to the awesome Sequoia National Park.

Nice place
Overall we had a great stay. The house was comfortable and the AC was good. A bit hard to find as we didn’t know that the highway was Sierra Road. The front door shown on the photo wouldn’t open. There is no back deck, but there are tables and chairs in some easy gravel. We didn’t use them, it was too hot. We did use the BBQ grill.

Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol!

The property was clean. We booked this for 6 men for two nights, on a family trip. The sleeping accommodations were not well suited for 6 men, as the bunk beds were more for children. As such, sleeping conditions were marginal. We were cooking full meals and found the utensils available for cooking were inadequate. Better and larger pots and pans would have been appreciated. We did use the grill, which was good.

Great Location
The cabin is only 4 miles from the park’s entrance and close to the market. No cell service unless you have AT&T and even then it’s spotty. There’s good WiFi at the cabin. There’s Netflix for the one tv in the front room as well. The upstairs shower has a low ceiling making it hard for my 6’1” son to shower and the downstairs shower door leaks. However both were clean and usable. Would recommend this cabin to families visiting the Sequoia National Park.

Beautiful!
We enjoyed our stay at the Sierra Western! The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable for our party of 7. I especially loved the log cabin theme! Our only suggestion would be the carpets need a good shampoo/cleaning, but overall we found the place clean and inviting. Thank you!

Great cabin in a great location.
My family of 4 adults, and boys ages 2, 7, and 14 loved our stay here. All the beds were comfortable and the AC worked great during our 100 degree plus summer vacation. Ten minutes to slick Rock where you can jump in the river and fifteen minutes from kaweah lake. The other direction you’re about fifteen minutes to the metric sequoia national park.

A Large Home that Looks Like a Woodsy Cabin
Less than a 10 minute drive to Sequoia National Park and in a very cute, quaint country town, this cabin is a perfect spot for a family vacation. First, the house itself is pretty darned big! And it's got every amenity you'd really want. Lots of room for sleeping, eating and hanging out. We grilled most of our dinners after our hiking adventures. We spent our evenings sitting outside on the back porch playing games and cards, watching deer and a very cute flock of quail running around. The house is well appointed with utensils, condiments both in the fridge and cupboard, and there's lots of cleaning stuff (if you're so inclined.) The only thing we wished was there was a cooler that we could fill with drinks and sandwiches and take on our park jaunts. We ended up buying a nice little cooler at the Merchantile in town. The town of Three Rivers was really cool. It's a cross between an artsy community and a super small country town. Everyone we met was super friendly. Don't come here if you're looking for lots of fancy shops, boutiques and gourmet restaurants. The few eateries here are easy going and casual...but the food is excellent! You can't beat the proximity to Sequoia National Forest...though the drive to Kings Canyon if you follow your GPS directions is a little dicey. We learned from a park ranger very important rules -- don't rely on GPS! Take the longer more direct routes. But getting back to the cabin...it was the perfect match to the town and the parks. It was relaxing, comfortable and felt just like a perfect home away from home...a wonderful retreat!
