"Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road "

"Much care is taken for this little home. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The location is close to many places to adventure. The host was very welcoming."

"Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"We had a perfect holiday here! The house was clean, well equipped to cook and spend the days. Small excursions to Koper, Izola, Piran, Cerkno as well as the surrounding small villages made this place a perfect destination to travel from. The host was very dedicated and helpful and gave us great travel advise! Thank you!"

"The property was as described, we had a good stay as two families, there is quite a lot to do in the area. The roads near by could get congested, hopefully this will be less so when Croatia joins Schengen. The restaurant at the junction of the main road, within easy walking distance is great, defiantly recommended. "The hotel was located outside of the main tourist area but was a very easy walk from it. The apartment living space was large but the kitchen was small if one had the intention to actually cook in it. However for coffee, use of a refrigerator and a light breakfast, it was fine. I appreciated the washer at this point on our trip and it worked well. Parking was about a 10 minute walk away on mostly flat ground. The Pri Mari restaurant next door was very good. "

"I love this place. I’ve stayed a few times and I’ll probably return. The staff, food and location are amazing!! There was however a persistent smell resembling backed up sewer. It wasn’t overwhelming but it was off putting. I walked onto a couple other floors and it was throughout the entire building. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!"
