"Unbelievably uncomfortable bedding. Why the heck do they put a thick waterproof sheet underneath of the mattress sheet. Probably this hotel is used for nasty sexual activities. If you are into those things like calling hookers over go for it. Otherwise Just f’ing eww… "

The shower has a rainfall effect and the tub is very deep for you to emerge you’re entire body under the water. The bed was firm but very soft at the same time. "This was actually a pretty nice motel, and I think most people would be comfortable. But I just have a difficult time with places that have tiny windows and not much natural lighting. There was also a musty smell that bothered me - I suspect it’s pervasive so didn’t bother asking to change rooms. The tteokguk for breakfast was amazing. The staff were all fantastic. And It was easy to catch buses to the areas I wanted to explore. If needed, I’d stay again."

"Wonderful artwork and efficient layout in the rooms. So much thought put in including charging cables at each head of bed for electronic devices. The staff were so friendly and suggested many dining and activity things based on our interests and even pinned the locations on our map for us. My family would definitely stay at this place again. "Very well-thought uniquely designed hostel. Homely yet modern & beautiful. Owner very friendly & nice man, staff as well. Free Breakfast was simple but adequate for hostel standards. Room was small, but expected of a hostel. Location excellent within walking distance of many shops/dining/ markets, etc. There is an excellent Samyetang Ginseng chicken speciality restaurant just round the corner Bed was however very firm & uncomfortable. Pillow was very small & firm too. We could not sleep well...

Customer service not included 🛎️ ☎️

"Slight but serious issue with booking as Hotels.com didn’t have multiple Hound Hotels listed like Busan. Big location issue so contacted the hotel immediately but no answer ☎️ Contacted Hotels.com by chat and they couldn’t reach the hotel after multiple attempts. A final attempt got through but futile, as the hotel stated they cannot communicate in English. Why on Hotels.com 路‍♂️ Maybe they need someone to refer to in these situations 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 Hotels.com said they would follow up by email within 72 hours, which they didn’t. Room fairly spacious but bed quite uncomfortable. Bidet in bathroom 🚽 but towels directly above toilet 🚽 Bit of a pet peeve as one doesn’t know which was cleaned first. No one at front desk when checking in or when we came down for breakfast. Guess we know why no one answers the phone ☎️ Breakfast in the adjacent building so you may have to go outside. Fairly good. No staff so you help yourself. Even with the booking issue, I was attempting to keep my business 💰 with Hound hotels 🏨 Stayed in a Hound hotel in Busan with a much better experience. Standard of service was so poor here that not only would I not return, I’d be unlikely to choose other Hound hotels 🏨 "

"Great hotel! I had no problem communicating in English with the very friendly staff. Room is very clean and modern, air conditioning works flawlessly. Nespresso coffee is available 24/7, so I didn't need to search out coffee elsewhere. Homemade Korean breakfast was delicious. I look forward to returning to Korea and I would absolutely come back to this hotel. Strongly recommended."
