"Very good for the price. Vast selection during breakfast.free desserts, coffee and ramen in the evening. Onsen is bit crowded. Massage chairs are very good and great feature but almost always occupied even at 5 am in the morning. Would love to stay again for the added benefits. "

Staff was super helpful and we able to answer our questions, and also had pocket translators in case they didn't quite understand. Rooms were very clean and kept to that standard during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood, yet within 10 min. walk to Kyoto Train Station which is the main hub to take Shinkansen, local subways, etc and has tons of restaurants. The hotel is a mix of kind of art nouveau and Japanese theme/style. Bathroom is very new. Bed firm yet comfortable. We have 2 adult & a teenager. We booked a superior twin sofa bed and the room didn’t feel cramp at all. Very surprised w this hotel in a good way. Worth the recommendation. "

"Great hotel. Try to avoid rooms on the south side as it faces the fire and ambulance station— especially if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise and even including this, it’s a great hotel."

"It was a great staying. Location is in walking distance to Umekōji-Kyōtonishi Station 梅小路京都西駅. Bus stops are near by. We tried 3 restaurants in the hotel, all were delicious. The spa is nice, kids love it very much."
