The Space:
POST FALLS LOCATION
Rocky Ridge Retreat is located in a neighborhood by the Spokane River in Post Falls, Idaho – only 10 miles to Coeur d’Alene and 25 miles to Silverwood Theme Park.

Our home is two blocks from the beloved Q'emiln Park, a local’s favorite for river and nature fun. The park sprawls across 78.5 acres and offers these wonderful experiences: a swimming beach, boat launch, 40-acre trail system, rock climbing, volleyball courts, horseshoes, picnic areas, a playground, concession stand and more.

We are also near the best eateries and brewhouses in town, including Post Falls Brewing Company, Sawmill Grille & Spirits, Republic Kitchen + Taphouse, and Fu-Ki Japanese Steakhouse which are right across the Spokane Street Bridge. In addition, two golf courses are 5 to 9 miles away: The Highlands Golf Course and Coeur d’Alene Golf Club.

ENCHANTING YARD
With pine trees towering above and rock formations covered in moss, you may think our yard is a scene from The Lord of the Rings. Our hilly side and back yards give way to a grassy lawn which is the place for kids’ games and picnics – or snowball fights in winter.

Around back, fire up the stainless steel grill for steaks or your catch from the river. And spend time in our gazebo, where views of our landscape bring you back to what matters.

LIVING ROOM
After days on the river or ski slopes, our living room is where everyone can hang out. The sectional sofa invites you to relax while two reclining chairs are plush and perfectly nostalgic. Sunlight streams in through five windows while wildlife artwork nods to our North Idaho setting. There’s room for the kids to play here, or for the whole family to settle in for movies with popcorn.

KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The kitchen is the heart of our home where you can cook delicious meals and mix up drinks after the kids go to bed. Wood cabinets hold all the dishware and cookware you’ll need while ample counter space is a cook’s dream. Decor accents also meet all kinds of extras: olive oil, spices, pancake mix, a pancake griddle, snack basket, and coffee & tea bar.

Whether a big breakfast or quick lunch, pull out the four stools at our counter bar. The wooden table is the gathering place for family meals and lively game nights (choose from dominoes, Monopoly, Sorry!, Cranium and more).

3 BEDROOMS
Upstairs, our three bedrooms are snug retreats that feel like home. All have plush mattresses and white linens, as well as artwork and walk-in closets. Windows in each room connect you to the sun and stars while more touches include toss pillows, faux greenery, comfy chairs and nightstands with lamps.

3 BATHROOMS
A powder room on the main floor is joined by two full baths upstairs. Each has a wood vanity and wall art while a standalone tub in the primary bathroom is great for drawing baths with our lavender salts. A second tub in the hallway means a soak is never far away.

We’re also happy to have these amenities on hand for you: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand lotion, makeup washcloths, hair ties and cotton balls, pads and swabs.

From our home, it's easy to explore the surrounding area by car. Post Falls is well-connected by major highways, including Interstate 90 and U.S. Route 95, making it convenient to reach nearby attractions and destinations.
Downtown Post Falls is just a short drive away, where you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and local attractions.

Coeur d'Alene, a vibrant city known for its beautiful lake and downtown area, is approximately a 15-minute drive south on U.S. Route 95.

Clean and perfectly located!
Plenty of room for our whole family. Clean and cozy for our relaxing vacation near the river. This house had everything we needed. We had a small question and sent a text and it was responded to within 5 minutes. Great communication. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect place near Couer D’Alene
We were visiting the area for a marathon in Couer D’Alene. This house was the perfect location - quiet neighborhood w/beautiful hiking and rock climbing within walking distance. It was an easy 15-ish min. drive to Couer D’Alene each day. The house was immaculate and it had everything we could have needed. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. So many unexpected small details (like ponytail holders & bath salts in the bathroom). The owners were easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure staying here! Our family hopes to be back soon!!
