This was once a quieter area in the city however, it has since been revived with specialty coffee shops and stylish restaurants and retail shops. Discover the Rue des Martyrs about a 5-minute walk from the Pigalle Metro station. This busy street is lined with shops selling fine wines, cheeses and delicious pastries.

Wander along the famed Boulevard de Clichy. On this street are a number of notable buildings, including the historic quarters of many famous artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Jean-Léon Gérôme. Admire the grand architecture and historic buildings.

Take the Metro to the Pigalle Station and you will emerge in the lively center. Visit South Pigalle during the day for fine food and shopping. Explore bars, nightclubs and music venues for an entertaining evening out.
