"Taurus is in a great location. It has friendly and really helpful staff. And.....it has a Fire Alarm! The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. The alarm woke at least one other guest but he didnt get out of bed! "

"Very pleasantly surprised as the photos on the website didn’t do this hotel justice. The grounds, decor and general standard was very high and staff all very professional. Our family room was an excellent size, with 2 bathrooms and a door between sleeping areas. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. "Have to say we loved everything about our stay at Maasparel Nextdoor. The town of Arcen is lovely. Our room was clean, with great décor, comfortable beds and a awesome view of the river. The food for breakfast was delicious as well. By far the very best part of our stay was the friendly staff. Lisa and her team were warm, welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. "Been here before. The price/ quality very good. Well organized, friendly. Doesn’t look too inviting when driving to the hotel but it’s fine. Very good stop over. We have rebooked for our return. Shopping center just down the road and. dry convenient for the motorway. Also nice and quiet. Thumbs up."

Fabulous on-site facilities

"The trip was amazing. Easy check-in. We were slightly early, however the staff accommodated us. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were absolutely fabulous. On-site facilities were out of this world, e.g. fitness centre and swimming pool. Bar was great too with service to one's table. Would definitely return. Very highly recommended."

"Easy, friendly check in. We were early but left our luggage at reception, and still got our room earlier than check in time! Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from, the pancakes were yummy! Rooms very comfortable and was great having a bath and a separate shower. So close to the centre too! Would stay here again for sure."

Isolated but enjoyable hotel

"Very nice hotel. Looks a little dated on the outside, but very nice inside, with many renovations completed. The bed was small however comfortable. Best part was the heating which worked very well, helping me recover from being under the weather for a few days. Enjoyed a great dinner at their restaurant, very nice atmosphere. And much praise to the front desk staff who were so helpful - thank you. Easy to reach by bus number 8 from Nijmegen central station. Overall, very enjoyable."
