You can get a shuttle to and from the town. They even pick your luggage up for you if you wish. The breakfast is fulfilling and tasty as well. The staff makes this place perfect. "

"This is my favourite hotel in Himeji. While older and perhaps not as trendy as some newer properties, it is still exceptionally well-maintained and very comfortable. The public bath, while small, is very much appreciated. The dining/breakfast room on the top floor is still quite elegant (french-style) with great views of Himeji Castle in the distant background. The location is great, 5 minute walk from Himeji Stn and local buses. The only and very minor negative might be that the entrances can be a little bit confusing - there are at least three different entrances, each involving taking elevators to get to the lobby - but you will get used to it! Highly recommended."
