"When we arrived for my son's 8th birthday (he wanted a vacation where he could see a river AND a mountain) the host showed all three of my children how to catch crawfish in the irrigation canal that runs next to the property. The boys were delighted and spent the rest of our week-long stay hunting for various life forms (bugs, frogs, crabs, etc) in the canal. "What a wonderful holiday home. New and fresh, photos don’t do it justice. Lots of space, bedrooms are upstairs - 2 bedrooms each with 4 single beds so could accommodate a large group. Few minutes walk to the lake with fabulous views of Mt Fuji and close to Oishi park. You can see Mt Fuji from the holiday house and it had a little deck (but no table/chairs). Really quiet area. No washer/dryer which was the only negative. House is managed by the shop across the road which is where you check in...
