"I wouldn't recommend this hostel, even though it's very new and in very clean conditions. I visited Fukuoaka during the corona virus outbreak, and as a person with Asian/Chinese descent I feel like the check-in staff were extremely unfriendly to me. Further, I was booked into the shared dormitory, which I would strongly suggest avoiding because there's around 18 people couped into one room. "This hostel felt like it was built in an old warehouse. The public space was tidy, and the servce was as good as you can expect in Japan. However, the photos don't show it all. Even though the walls seem tidy in their white colour, the ceiling has been left as it is — plain concrete with some pipe ends here and there. On top of all this, there is no proper sound insulation. "If you want to have a bad hostel experience, this is it. They are currently under renovation so fascilities could improve. Staff was very friendly but apart from that the sheets smelled like body odor and sweat! I dont think they change the sheets! The wooden bed is made of cheap plywood as with the floor too creaking with every sligjtest movement you make. Shower took time to heat up and felt lukewarm. The sink had no hot water at all so you need to brush your teeth in freezing water! They lock...

"The hostel quite nice but a lower of people stay there. Only 1 bath room & toilet at each floor is no enough. Room is so clean and comfort. Location is OK. Just few mins. walk can reach stopping area and restaurant. Staff is helpful."
