I visited Fukuoaka during the corona virus outbreak, and as a person with Asian/Chinese descent I feel like the check-in staff were extremely unfriendly to me. Further, I was booked into the shared dormitory, which I would strongly suggest avoiding because there's around 18 people couped into one room. "If you want to have a bad hostel experience, this is it. They are currently under renovation so fascilities could improve. Staff was very friendly but apart from that the sheets smelled like body odor and sweat! I dont think they change the sheets! The wooden bed is made of cheap plywood as with the floor too creaking with every sligjtest movement you make. Shower took time to heat up and felt lukewarm. The sink had no hot water at all so you need to brush your teeth in freezing water! They lock...
