"The stay was short bur sweet. The resort was clean and the room was beautiful. The only thing was i reserved a room with a balcony but received on a first floor. But it was still beautiful. The prices are super hugh though, they already put 20% for gratuity and put tips even afterwards, which is unprofessional. My waiter accidentally wrote 25%and i had to point out the mistake. "Excellent room and facilities. Complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. A bit difficult to get your bearings because the property is over 1300 acres. But the only negative……..breakfast is very expensive, the food is Hilton commercial and they can’t even get a quality bagel and cream cheese. "The shower head in our bathroom had come off the wall and was just hanging there. It wasn’t the end of the world and we dealt with it since it was still functional. "It was an accidental stay. We and another couple were to share a condo for the Thanksgiving weekend. When we arrived, we checked the sofa bed and discovered no sheets, no blankets, no pillows. And only 2 towels in the bathroom. Despite repeated assurances linens were on the way, at about 7:30PM, I booked at the Doubletree. Greeted warmly at the front desk. "We were pleasantly surprised by the Foundre! Very cute artsy boutique hotel, had a nice place to eat and a bar downstairs so it was very convenient for us. Self Parking was easily accessible behind the hotel and they had valet too. Everyone was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay here!"
