"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. "Very convenient location. Close to the train station, restaurants. Staff is really helpful. They offer free shuttles to Arishiyama Bamboo Forest and Kinkaku -ji temple which is very convenient. Breakfast is good. Loved our stay. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is really nice and very conveniently located in walking distance to Nishiki market and walkable to some neighborhoods that are all nice and cute. The hotel rooms are small though, but if you just want to use the rooms to sleep at night it's ok. We stayed in a room with a 5 year old sleeping on the floor. The bath downstairs was nice too and we used it the last day. Overall, nice experience. "
