「The door locks were not functioning properly. The bedding did not appear to be clean. The floor had stickiness and debris on it. The toilet seat was not fastened down properly nor was it clean. The shower was gross looking therefore I did not take a shower.」

「This place is a gem! Quirky and quaint with friendly hosts. We were just passing through for one night, but I wish it could have been more. The bed was comfy, the decorations beachy/artsy, and I really loved the screen porch and the canal. We took a kayak out in the bay and walked to a nearby restaurant. The area has been hit hard by hurricanes, but the community is working hard to keep its identity. I felt happy to be a tiny part of that. 」

「Everything went well with our visit. However, because the hotel was under renovation, our room wasn't perfect, but it was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. Free cookies every afternoon, along with coffee and tea, were always available. Breakfasts were good. It was in an excellent location with many stores and restaurants nearby. 」
