"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "

"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. Gorgeous place

"The view of the lake was incredible. I strongly recommend one of the rooms facing the lake. If you can get it I was here in the middle of winter and during the Daragh storm and the whole place was just kind of magical because of the to be honest. The grounds are beautiful. I walked all the way round and I just can’t think of another place that is as pretty as this. To be honest, I’d probably give the food a miss if I went back again."
