"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"First of all, the pics shown for this property are outdated as this house is no longer yellow, it's now white. We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. "Beautiful property. The scenery was beautiful the staff was friendly. I enjoyed everything about it. Wish I could have stayed longer. Do remember it is surrounded by trees so expect a critter here and there . My lucky guest was a spider. Drinks could be a little stronger but you can always buy yourself a bottle before exiting the airport. "

"Excellent balance of luxury and immersion in nature. Key things to know: stunning beach where we never saw more than 2 other guests, the cabanas are open to the wind and sounds of nature but the way they are secured with screens and sealed doors resulted in zero insect visitors (and the wind and cooling unit over the bed provided for a very comfortable temp), and there will be a need to traverse many steps throughout the day. Lastly, the views here are unlike anything we’ve experienced before. If you want a stunning tropical sunset then you can’t do better than Morgan’s Rock"
