Great Stay on Norton Pond!
We loved our quick trip to this property. The location was perfect, the boat house fully stocked with fun lake toys and despite our rainy forecast we had the best time! Check in and check out was smooth sailing and the house was prepped with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

Beautiful cabin with a great view!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin on the lake! The cabin had lots of character, and was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed some of the amenities to include kayaks and the fire pit by the lake. The cabin was very close to Camden and Rockport which we explored during the day. Excellent communication with the host. Would definitely recommend!

Lakeside
This cottage brings you back in time to vintage Maine. Loved the sleeping porch and listening to the waves lapping the shore. Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of dry wood for the fire pit.

Relaxing Maine Vacation
Everything was as expected. A pond front cottage with lots of equipment for various water activities. The gas grill was nice as we could prepare a number of meals at home. Without question, this property has the best bathroom I have ever experienced in renting properties around Norton’s Pond. I think anyone would enjoy a stay at this property.

Perfect as always!
This was our third time in this wonderful location, on a clean and sunny lake, great dock, lots of room to hang out. Walkable road and a short drive or Kayak to Lincolnville General Store with fresh pizzas, coffee and essentials. Stephanie was a great host, attentive and helpful. Thank you!

Great Get Away!
Great spot for a get away with our family. Well equipped camp to live in for the week. We cooked all of our meals there inside or on the grill, except pizza from the general store one night. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Owners were quick to communicate about any questions we had. Will stay again!

Authentic camp and beautiful location
We enjoyed the peaceful beauty of this stay. The camp itself is genuine vintage style but comfortable and being cared for. We appreciate the old places being rescued! We enjoyed eagles, loons, families of geese, local fare and visiting relatives. This is a lakeside gem hidden in Lincolnville Maine.

Relaxing and peaceful place!
The owners were very accommodating. Every little detail from easy access to the cottage, to all the amenities (pillows, sheets, blankets, towels provided, all kitchen items, toiletries in case you forgot, bandaids and bug spray, board games and a small boombox radio).
Cottage was very clean and the grounds were beautiful.
Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Perfect lakefront spot!
Loved this house, such a perfect spot. Great house layout, clean, well supplied. The dock is right on the lake with clear water, we rented kayaks and paddled over to the lovely Lincolnville store (where they have everything, even pizza kitchen for takeout). It was quiet with little boat noise, just loons and the sounds of people enjoying summer.

September fishing trip
Our trip was specifically to fish the lake this cabin is located on. It’s late September and both the lake and the neighborhood were very quiet. The owners of the camp were very helpful and accommodating both before and during the trip. Cabin was rustic as indicated in the listing but was clean and well stocked with all the necessary items like linens, towels, kitchenware etc. we saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the rest and relaxation.

Quaint Cabin by the Water
Nice, clean, albeit older, cabin on private drive with lots of charm. Was obvious that the owner really works hard on upkeep. Kitchen was nicely equipped, comfortable outdoor seating, and gas grill. Great location right on the lake. Loved kayaking first thing in the morning and listening to the loons at night. Enjoyed our stay. We couldn't get the TV to work but since there was wifi we watched a movie on our laptop. Would definitely recommend staying here. Enjoy!!

Fabulous
Clean!! No smell of smoke or pets. We enjoyed our stay so much. Every night the loons would sing their song and the lake is very clean. We didn’t get to swim in the lake since we were out most of the day. The owner takes great care to ensure this cabin is clean which was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed the authenticity of the camp . The charming feel of a true Maine camp has been maintained.

The hosts were great. I enjoyed myself. The house was a bit rundown (broken window, old carpet, etc...) but that didn't bother me. My GPS did NOT get me there and in fact was very confusing. I recommend the hosts clarify that for future renters. I enjoyed paddling the lake, seeing the loons, and just hanging out.

A true Maine camp with beautiful sunset views!
The location of this rustic Maine camp provided the perfect opportunity to spend time in nature. We kayaked, fished and spent plenty of time lounging beside the dock and on the sleeping porch. We heard loons morning and evening as well as several owls. It provided easy access to fishing and the sunset views were the subject of many spectacular (we think!) photographs. It is obvious the owners have put a lot of effort into fixing up the camp. Check in and out was effortless. Thanks to the owners vision we were really able to experience the simplicity of camp living. We hope to return many times in the future! Thanks Stephanie and Robert!

Perfect camp on a lake!
I’ve been looking for a place like this since I had my first child (12 years ago!). I wanted to share with them the vacations I had as a kid. My checklist is short but still not easy to find. A lake with a way to swim from the backyard of the cabin. (This was the hardest to find but it’s at this property! The water is deep enough off the dock that the kids couldn’t touch but they used life jackets and we had a blast swimming all day.)
Second is a real cabin. Like thin walls, may or may not have hot water flickering lights and the whole nine. This was perfect. It does have hot water which I never had as a kid.
And lastly is the distance to neighboring cabins. This was perfect. You can see them through the trees but you aren’t on top of one another.
We loved our stay and hope to go back again.
