"I was satisfied with the cost by performance. I stayed here for 16 nights. The staff speaks Japanese, whose attitudes are polite and bright. The room was upgraded and clean. They serve free laundry service up to 5 pieces/day, free dinner curry, rice and miso soup during 5-8pm, followed by free rice ball and miso soup during 8-10pm. Perfectly amazing!!!"

"Beautiful property with many dining options and a beautiful roof-top bar. It is a little far from Hanoi Old Quarter, so grab is the way to go. Prices are pretty expensive compare to local prices, so be prepared to pay U.S. prices, but otherwise, amazing hotel."

"Our stay at La Nueva was exceptional! The entire staff made our stay, from greeting us outside the front door when we arrived to tea and snacks as we checked in. Friendly, so helpful and kind, and extremely accommodating! The food was excellent and the Sky Bar was beautiful. The wait staff felt like friends. The property was lovely and the rooms were just the right size plus had a great bathroom and shower. They arranged cars for us, had my son’s suit dry cleaned in a day, and even packed a breakfast for an early morning flight. Have never had such incredible service at a hotel and could tell they loved their jobs and working with guests from all over the world. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else and look forward to going back someday. Thank you Jimmy and everyone there for making the trip for our son’s wedding practically perfect! "

"Beautifully and tastefully decorated boutique hotel with a perfect location next to the Cathedral, in the heart of the old quarter and within walking distance to most attractions. A wonderful breakfast and flawless customer care. Ken &Jack went above and beyond to help us with all details for our stay from airport transfers to tours and even assisting us with our next stay. We are very grateful and delighted to have chosen the Grand Hotel du Lac in Hanoi. It certainly made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you for you hospitality 🙏"
