"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

"Good situation on the edge of village. Lovely neighbours in adjoining gite. Internet signal not very good - had to wait sometimes for more than an hour to have a signal. Unfortunately did not meet our host at all. Welcomed by a lovely local lady who took care of us very well."

"The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"This house was perfect for a group with multiple families, with each room having its own bathroom. Also, lounge and kitchen areas were sizeable. Excellent kitchen facilities and ample cutlery and crockery as well as 2 dishwashers - made a huge difference not having to worry about running out of anything. "This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here!"

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"
