We asked for a non smoking room and as soon as we opened the door, the room reeked like a smoker’s house. It was late. We checked in around midnight. We had just got into town from a long trip and were looking forward to some rest. We asked if we could switch rooms and they said that no other room was available and they should’ve never sold us the room with a smell like that. Then, we asked for some spray to at least neutralize the odor but it never came. We booked a suite with a pull out couch bed for our 2 kids and there were no pillows or blankets. We checked the closets, bathrooms, and drawers. When asked for them to be brought up, front desk said they should be in the closet. They finally brought the blankets but by that time the kids had fallen asleep. We booked for 2 days. We were optimistic that the staff would redeem themselves the 2nd day. Afterall, everyone has their ‘off days’. After a long day out, we came back expecting a better smelling room. I called housekeeping and told them to clean the room and get rid of the smell while we were out. But that didn’t happen. We came back for the 2nd night and the room smelled like someone was smoking there just a few minutes ago. We booked this place because we wanted a peaceful nights rest in a smoke free hotel. We won’t be coming here again.

The property was updated and conveniently located near the freeway. The staff were nice and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious, and recently updated. The only issue was the $100 per day deposit. On the listing it stated that the deposit would be $50 a day. Other than that, everything went well and I would stay again.

The Double Tree isn’t in the best area, but once you’re on their property. It feels much nicer and the staff was really nice. The room was very clean and had no issues.

i was locked outside of my room for 20 minutes after getting food because the door randomly stopped working. Supposedly the battery died. They wouldn’t give me a refund. My food was cold. Not acceptable.
