"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. "The hotel is lovely. It is right on the beach. It was very clean and the staff were charming. The rooms are quite small tho.
