"The owner is very nice and friendly. Quiet location. There are many shops and restaurants if you have a car. Each room has air cond, but the house itself is cold in winter and I hesitated to take a shower. Instead we went to nearby onsen to get warm."

"I absolutely loved our stay here. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were absolutely fantastic, the food from the restaurant was incredible, and the area around the hotel was beautiful and exciting to explore. Unfortunately, I didn't have an opportunity to use the public bath facility, so I can't say anything about that. Just to note, only a few of the staff speak English so basic Japanese skills would be recommended. The station is a 20 minute walk from the hotel, so keep that in mind...

"No elevator. The reception is on 2nd floor. The ground floor is with strong cigarette smell. My reservation was for a non-smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell (via A/C?). And, I saw a man (a guest?) smoking in front of the reception desk. The staff was friendly and willing to help. They carried my bag up to my room (on 3rd floor) and down to the ground floor. It could be a good choose for smokers and weight lifters."

"Room is small with no wardroibe but has bathtub and is clean. Breakfast spread is decent. Convenient location - nearby train station, bus stop and walkable distance to large mall (Canal City). Market is right outside hotel entrance. Parking in hotel requires reservation (limited spots - operated via car lift by hotel staff) but may be cheaper to park nearby overnight if short walking distance is acceptable. "

"This hotel is located in a great area Fukuoka’s Tenjin area. We walked everywhere using the hotel as a base. The hotel room was small but manageable with our two big suitcases. It’s great that they have a washer/dryer combo. We did some laundry using Google Translate app."
