"We loved the ocean view room — it was large with a comfortable bed with hypoallergenic bedding options, and it had lots of storage room for clothing — 2 closets and 4 large drawers. I have stayed in several luxury hotels/ resorts in the past and the friendly service here was beyond compare. Our only minor complaint was that the lighting could be improved in the bathroom, and there was a lack of hooks or drawers in the bathroom. "

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"They upgraded us to a suite for our honeymoon. The rooms are newly redone and are so beautiful and thoughtful. The Gold experience made us feel like royalty, although I would think it would maybe include some parking perks or pool perks. The grounds of the hotel were outstanding. First time I ever thought - I would travel specifically to stay at another fairmont hotel. "
