"It took 3 hours from the airport, to arrive late (approx. 9.30pm) they did keep the restaurant (limited as it was) open for us. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to the pricing as we were shocked that we could not get cocktails! One type of beer and about four choices of spirits or wine. Turns out a drink costs more than in Australia! Meal was pretty basic too and not cheap. We took a chance as we wanted to experience the 'naturalist' (clothing free) experience. We wasted our money...

"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. However, this is a fantastic villa and we had a really enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"Had an absolutely wonderful time at Bondalem Beach Club. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make sure my stay was a joy. So much so, they climbed a tree to get me a fresh coconut. The rooms are spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The pools are spectacular. The sunrises/sunsets from my room’s patio were a dream. I highly recommend BBC if you need a quiet, beautiful and relaxing getaway. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The Homestay is set in the mountains with the village just down the hill. We felt welcomed into the home and the village. The property overlooks a lovely rice field and the mountains. The room was clean and tidy. Motor bikes and tours are able to be setup at the property. "The location is awesome. The facilities are just ok. The bed was a mattress on the floor, and no chair in the room at all. I put the toilet seat cover down to sit on it, and it broke. The manager/owner attempted to charge me RP500,000 for the toilet seat. I bought a new one and gave it to him, and my cost was RP85,000."

"We never stayed because the map which we followed took us the wrong way . After 2 hours driving we gave up turned around and headed back to Bedugul. Where this accomodation was meant to be 13 k it stated on the web site. But then after we discovered 28 k along very windy roads . And the next day we were told you walk from the road? "

"The facilities were very poor. Not much transparency through the portal. Cleanliness was poor. The lock handle was coming out making the main door not being able to be locked. Hence, we couldn't go out. I request a refund compensation. "

"Beautiful oasis of calm serenity in north Bali. Close to Lovina with convenient shuttle service or drivers provided for tours and outings. But allow plenty of time for simply relaxing at this small, beautifully appointed property with Balinese’s charm, delightful staff, luxurious spa, and a talented chef. 5-star everything, loved this place!"

"Great stay at the Oculus hotel. Food and facilities are amazing with excellent service. The hotel is located on a steep incline with lots of steps and hillu walks into Kintamanti so not recommended for someone with limited accessibility or pushchairs. We booked this hotel to do the Jeep Adventure to Mount Batur and it's a perfect location to relax and unwind away from the south madness. "
