I had a prepaid reservation at Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul Asia Airport (check-in: 29/11, checkout: 30/11), but it was cancelled and marked as a no-show because we arrived early in the morning. A prepaid booking should guarantee the room, regardless of arrival time, but instead, we were left with no prior notice or explanation.
While we were eventually given a different room, it was not the type we booked and paid for. To make matters worse, the staff handling our check-in was unprofessional and dismissive, offering no apology for the inconvenience.
This experience was far below Mövenpick’s standards, and I would not recommend this hotel to travellers with late arrivals.
