As a family of 4 with two older children - the room was a great size (we booked a family room which comprised of two connecting rooms, each with their own bathroom, with it's own entrance, so you could close off an external door and have both room doors open. The rooms were very clean and had lots of windows, the only niggle we had was that our room was overlooking reception, so we could hear any noise coming from people coming and going etc, but this was not a huge issue.
The hotel is in a great location, 5-10 mins walk to Sultanahmet square, with lots of good restaurants and shops on your doorstep - which for us was great as we only had 1.5 days in Istanbul and wanted to see the cultural and historical side, so we walked everywhere.
The breakfast was great, with a lovely lady making fresh Gözleme. There was also a rooftop terrace which had great city and sea views.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault anything and would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Istanbul.
