Fun woodsy home
A very nice property for a family stay. Centrally located to Indian River and Wolverine where our daughter was married. Very well-appointed house with comfortable beds. Just be aware that there are lots of stairs.

We had a lovely time at the home in Indian Rivers, MI. The location was perfect. We took a couple day trips- Mackinac Island and to the UP to the shipwreck museum and Tahquamenon Falls. Thanks for having us!

Plenty of room
Quiet property with plenty of space to spread out. There is a shortage of washcloths though, so bring your own. We had 5 adults staying and there was only 3 washcloths in the entire house. Plus there was no dish cloths to wash the dishes with, and you are required to wash your dishes and put away before checking out. We just used paper towels. Other than the shortage of dish and washcloths, it was a very nice place.

Wilderness getaway
Simply the perfect place for a bit of R&R. Just rustic enough for that “camp” feel but with all the comforts of home. Loved the place and already talking about future stays. 1st time booking with vrbo and it was a big thumbs up for us!

Nice house!
I wish we had longer to enjoy the property. It had everything we needed for our rather large group, and the only complaint was that the upstairs full (queen?) bed may need a little TLC (the occupants rolled to the middle - possibly broken springs?). They instead shuffled one adult to one of the twins, and the other adult slept well in the middle of the bed. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Our stay started out a little rocky with no air conditioning. We were probably there the hottest day of the year so far, up to 90. Jobst was wonderful about offering to drop off box fans. We had to leave for the night due to it being just to hot and humid. They were able to get the ac fixed the next day. The rest of the trip was great. Only comment would be not a place for people with bad knees, lots of stairs and it accommodates 10 people and ran out of toliet paper so beat bet is to bring some with you. Also great fire pit. Would recommend

About our stay
Convenient location. Property was clean. Appreciated firewood available for campfire. A couple items could have been improved upon; there were only 4 half rolls of toilet paper for 10 people for 4 days, so we had to purchase more; there was only one trash bag in the basket under the kitchen sink, no others; the downstairs bathroom faucet had no water pressure, just a trickle; and the master bedroom bed had only a fitted sheet on the mattress and a comforter on it with no top sheet.

Wonderful and cozy
Very very nice inside this cozy little cottage. Unbelievably nice rooms, plenty of space for a large family, amenities were great etc. We had the fireplace on, watching some tv and just talking away. Hope to come back soon.

Indian River Ski Trip
The home had everything we needed and comfortably fit my family of six. It was a 30 minute trip to to Boyne Highland and Nubs Nob ski hills.
