Moondance Lodge was cozy, and a bit rustic. It was certainly adequate, but could do with a little refurbishing, mainly in the living area and the deck outside the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen appeared to be recently remodeled, but lights were out, so it was somewhat dim. Also, the water and ice dispenser in the refrigerator did not work.Theupstairs bathtub drain was very slow. Tried plunging, but didn 't help. Would suggest having a name and phone number available for emergencies, in addition to the email address. The lockbox batteries went dead the second time we tried to enter. Fortunately, we had left the back door unlocked by mistake, so got in that way. We did buy batteries and install them for the rest of our stay. Also alerted the property manager by email, but didn't get a response until late the following day. Overall, the house is okay; could just use some TLC and maintenance. The surrounding woods, river and Mt. Index are beautiful!
